Singing teacher develops method to cure snoring

If other people’s snoring keeps irritating you or you do keep irritating them by snoring, well there’s a technique that seems to be working.
A simple set of daily vocal exercises can strengthen the weak throat and palate muscles which are a major cause of snoring. The discovery was made after a singing teacher, Alise Ojay, devised a way to help her husband stop snoring. The singing exercises targeted the throat and stopped both chronic snoring and sleep apnoea. She concluded that patients who sung the sounds “ung” and “gah” found that their snoring decreased or stopped.
