This hero dog from Chile once again proves Descartes (and all 21st century cartesian-folks) wrong. He selflessly throws himself in the middle of the highway to save an injured dog that had been hit by a car. They both lived thanks to this canine hero.
Other animals do have emotions and everyone who has lived with a companion animal knows it. Furthermore, altruism (just as every other characteristic) is not a unique a characteristic of human beings. To think otherwise makes no evolutionary sense.

Una vez más, Descartes (y todos los cartesianos del siglo XXI) son derrotados, en esta ocasión por este héroe canino. De forma completamente desinteresada, el perro se lanza al medio de la carretera para salvar a otro perrito que había sido herido por un auto. Los dos vivieron gracias a la acción del can.
Los demás animales tiene emociones, como cualquier persona que haya compartido con ellos sabe. Más aún, el altruismo (y toda otra característica) no es exclusividad de los seres humanos y pensar lo contrario no tiene sentido desde una perspectiva evolutiva.
