in this video “Body Scan” Esther talks you through a meditation. with a body scan you move your attention slowly and purposely through the different parts of the body. You are paying attention to the feelings and sensations. It doesn’t matter what the different sensation or feelings are, (pleasant, not so pleasant) The idea is that you learn to be aware of them. Body scan is a simple form of mindfulness meditation. As you practice body scan, you build your concentration (much as exercise builds muscle). Concentration helps you bring your mind to the present, to what is happening right now.
