Al Vernacchio discusses how sometimes when it comes to our own sexuality, our hearts and our minds are not in the same place.
Al Vernacchio is a Human Sexuality educator and consultant, and spends his time publishing, lecturing, and holding workshops around sexual topics. Vernacchio has given two TED talks about his work, and has published the book For Goodness Sex: Changing the Way We Talk to Teens about Sexuality, Values, and Health. He was also featured in New York Times Magazine’s cover story “Teaching Good Sex”, which profiled his approach to teaching. Currently, Vernacchio teaches sexual education at a private school outside of PA, and runs his blog “For Goodness Sex”.
